VDL Groep welcomes you to this website and appreciates your interest in our company, products and services. VDL Groep attaches great importance to your privacy. That is why we feel it is important to inform you about how we handle your personal data. Types of personal data
The personal data processed by VDL via the website often concerns your contact details such as your name and email address, a search query you enter or a question you ask in the form. In addition, you can search for vacancies via the 'Vacancies, Working at VDL, Internships & Training and Contact' functions, and these searches can also be saved and linked to, for example, your IP address, as well as the information that a website visitor uploads or fills in on the website. Of course, we also process uploaded CVs and motivation letters.

Purpose for processing personal data

Retention period
VDL Groep does not store your data any longer than is strictly necessary. A retention period of six months is reasonable for the purposes described above. In addition, VDL may store anonymized data for statistical and research purposes. VDL will not retain personal data that we receive in the context of a job application or the run-up to a job application for longer than 4 weeks after the closure of the relevant procedure. If VDL has requested and obtained your permission, VDL may retain this application data for a maximum of one year.
Your rights
Because we process your personal data, you have the right to

- Submit a request to correct or delete certain data if the personal data is irrelevant or incorrect;
- Submit a request to limit and object to the processing of personal data;
- Submit a request for data portability;
- Withdraw your consent.

All personal data that you leave on this website is provided voluntarily. However, it goes without saying that we are unable to contact you, provide you with information or carry out a job application procedure if we do not have the correct personal data.
